DELL PARK CEMETERY

Dell Park Cemetery is located along the banks of Fiske Pond, on the north side of Pond Street. Natick’s oldest operating cemetery, Dell Park was originally founded as the town burying grounds in 1849. Prominent Natick citizen and Senator, the Hon. Henry Wilson, who later became the 18th Vice President of the United States, led the dedication. In 1890 Lakeside Cemetery to the west was purchased and became known as New Dell. Cremation and traditional lots are currently available for pre-need purchase in the New Dell. A pair of granite pillars at the west entrance, commemorating the Cemetery’s 150th year, were installed in 1999.
